Ethos and Values
Our Vision
To create a learning community in which every child feels valued, happy, healthy, and safe; where children are encouraged to take responsibility for and enjoy their learning, leading to high levels of achievement within a diverse and inclusive community.
Our Ethos and Values
At Pavilion Day Nursery, we are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment in which all children can thrive developmentally, socially, and emotionally. We believe that every child should feel safe, respected, and valued as an individual.
We strive:
- To provide a caring and supportive learning environment where children’s wellbeing, happiness, and safety are at the heart of school life.
- To deliver a consistent yet flexible curriculum that promotes confidence, resilience, independence, and high self-esteem.
- To encourage children to take ownership of their learning and develop a lifelong love of learning.
- To foster curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving through opportunities to take appropriate risks within a safe and secure environment.
- To provide engaging and meaningful learning experiences that inspire children and make learning memorable.
- To promote mutual respect, tolerance, and understanding through the teaching of British Values and positive relationships.
- To work in close partnership with parents, carers, and the wider community to support children in achieving their full potential and developmental milestones.
- To support the development of the whole child by recognising and nurturing each child’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development.
Through our shared values and high expectations, we aim to equip children with the skills, confidence, and attitudes they need to become successful learners who are School ready and responsible members of society.
